This error does not occur in version .9.0.12 and I can convert from that
version with no problem. BUT: version .9.0.12 gets the following error
message when I try to send the ringtone to the phone: "Access to this
file/directory has been blocked on this phone by the phone provider" The
clips I generally make are about 20seconds long. Here's the kicker: I can
then use version1.0.3 to send the converted ringtone to my phone with no
problem.
Synopsis: For Verizon LG VX8300 use Bitpim version .9.0.12 to create
ringtone and then use version 1.0.3 to transfer it to the phone.
I hope this helps with any further development. Thanks for creating BITPIM.
It's a great piece of software :-) Merry Christmas to you all
