The best I have been able to do is this paper:
http://citeseer.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download;jsessionid=4C2AAB522309266701B91FECE1E0D917?doi=10.1.1.101.1036&rep=rep1&type=pdf

I was able to access the file system after installing the LG for the phone via Bitpim and for the lotus, they were a set of vol files under the DB\sysDB folder. It looked like all the vol files functioned together somehow, though I was never able to figure out what data corresponded to the parts of the DBMS the paper said the it should have.

There are some .dat files in the DB\schema\Handset folder that are just plain text. Again, I was never able to apply them but some of the syntax shows up in Google searches for other LG phones so this database system may be used on other LG phones too.

On Tue, Jul 19, 2011 at 12:49 PM, Nathan Hjelm <***@mac.com> wrote:

Any useful links on the LG Lotus PIM?

-Nathan

On Jul 19, 2011, at 09:58 AM, Matt <***@gmail.com> wrote:

It will be a difficult to add support for the Octane if it is anything
like the Cosmos touch (same generation). This phone is the first LG CDMA phone
I have encountered that doesn't use files in /pim to store phonebook data.
There is a basic phonebook protocol using f1 commands but I haven't figured
out a way to use it to modify group/ringer id/photo id information. If I have
some time this week I will take another look.
