[Bitpim-devel] BITPIM Todo List

Based on Roger's suggestion, I just came up with a list of known BITPIM TODO tasks, and just want to send it out for comments and suggestions before I commit it to SF. Currently, the list is not in any particular order so suggestions wrt tasks priority are also welcome. Once the list is somewhat agreed upon, I plan to add a short description for each of those items and commit it to SF.

I would suggest putting it into a table with columns for component/summary,
if anyone is (or plans to work on it), and a more detailed description.

Some additions:

- Deal with character set issues to/from the phones. (It looks like
we can claim to use ISO 8859-1)

- #10 should be lazy read and *write*

- SMS

- Call history

- Some way of exporting the database into a plain text format and
being able to re-import from that format

- time handling

- 1.b should be seperate and hopefully a lot lower priority

- Conversion of wav/mp3 etc into ringtones

- conversion to/from PureVoice

- #4 was backed off due to bugs in wxPython so the upgrade will happen
to whatever comes out after 2.5.3.1
