Since this feature seems to be applicable to other data structures besides Phonebook (such as Calendar, etc.), I added a new menu item 'Historical Data' under the 'Data' menu to handle the process of this feature. Currently, it is only active under the Phonebook tab. Please shout if you think this is a bad idea.
