Joe,
to be an end of line issue. It looks like you have DOS end of lines
but did cvs commit on a non-Windows box. I have fixed up the file
and recommitted. (The Windows version of cvs allegedly automatically
converts the end of line as appropriate so that the cvs respository
actually stores with UNIX eol).
