[BitPim-devel] Calendar Entry Editor bug

I have a LG PM-325 and running the latest code from source, when
editing the calendar in BitPim it appears that the Memo, Categories,
and Wallpapers tab (in the Calendar Entry Editor) can switch back and
forth between red and blue, depending on how much you click around.

I'm pretty sure they should stay one color the whole time.

If any more information is needed, let me know.

the Memo, Categories, and Wallpapers tab (in the Calendar Entry
Editor) can switch back and forth between red and blue,
Can you provide one specific sequence of actions that causes this to happen?

IIRC, you just click the Add icon on a section that is red, or not
supported, and it will switch to blue.

I'll get a better set of actions tomorrow when I am in front of my
development computer.

yeah, I was close.

1) Open the Calendar view.
2) Double-click on an empty day.
3) Go to the Notes, Categories, or Wallpapers tab.
4) For me, they all start as red but when you click on the New button
they will all switch to blue and let me start editing/adding data.

I also noticed the even if you hit cancel on the Calendar Entry Editor
dialog, and never hit the save button, the events you create are added
to the calendar anyway.... which makes the save button pointless?

Has anyone had time to look at this? Is there more information needed to try
to fix this, that maybe I can give?

Thanks,

This looks to be fixed now.

The cancel button still doesn't cancel, but at least the items are no
longer changing from red to blue.

thanks,

They're on the BitPim to-do list. Just haven't gotten to them yet.

OK. sounds good. I was working on my own code base, ran into this bug and
got stuck in what I was trying to accomplish. So, I was just wondering where
it was at, as I hadn't heard anything in a couple of weeks.

Thanks.
