[BitPim-devel] BitPim on Linux discrepancies

Some discrepancies observed on the Linux load (redhat 9, Python
2.3.5):

1. The Set Phone wizard does not work: never getting off the first
page.
2. Phone detection does not work for libusb comm ports.
3. After a succesful detection, failed to communicate with the phone
through a libsub comm port.

Kinda surprised that these issues have not been reported.

On the mac libusb ports are not detected either although they are listed if
you browse the ports from settings.
