[Bitpim-devel] Odd Mac issue - other platforms?

Hi Roger,

Just toying with the calendar here... There is a button on the upper
left corner of the calendar with the current year in it. If I click on
it, it opens a small calendar to pick a date. The only way I found to
close it was to double-click on a date. However, after the window
closed The "Application" menu lost the ability to select "Preferences"
and "Quit". In fact, even a CMD-Q wouldn't quit the program.

Can you verify this is a unique Mac issue?

Thanks!

I get that on Windows XP. Not only that, it draws some days with a
white background and some with a grey background.

Until the calendar is closed, by double clicking on a day or pressing
return, it behaves as though it is modal. Clicks anywhere else just
beep.

On Linux it displays fine, but you also can't click anywhere else.
(Well you can, it just has no effect).

That bit is. On both Windows and Linux I can get to the settings or
quit once the calendar is dismissed.

I played with it a bit more and couldn't even reproduce the bug on my
same system, so it's just a quirk, not a recurring bug. I'm not sure
what combination made it happen the first time, but try as I might I
can't duplicate it.

Thanks for testing it on the other platforms.
