Joe, when I sent those patched I didn't include any changes to the p_*.py files to make them easier to read. As a result none of the VX-8700/VX-8550/etc work with the test build. Forgot to mention to run protogen.py. Can you fix that and build a new test version?

Once upon a time, those files were generated at build time, apparently it no longer does that. I'll fix the build script. A new test release is now available.

Does the phone show up as available when manually selecting a port? If
it is under "Ports not unavailable" do you get an error when trying to
access the phone after selecting the port?

The port you are looking for is named "USB Device - Vendor LG
Electronics, Product VX Series Phone (Direct USB connection),
(Interface Diagnostics Interface)"

Nathan, Don, There may be an issue with the USB module build script. I'll
check to see if the module is being built as a universal binary. If it
isn't, I'll release builds for both platforms until we can get
it straightened out.

Best,

Sean

I use Bitpim all the time, and want to thank all the developers working on this project.

I truly appreciate the amount of time and quality of the work you are all doing, as well as, your dedication to the project.

Thanks,
Don L. Lewis
