Some additional notes on this test load:

1. Sean made available a Tiger build for this test load. If this
build works out OK, the Mac Build will be included in the next BitPim
release (0.9.14). For those Mac users, please check it out if you
have a chance and post your results.

2. Due to outdated libraries, I've moved the Linux build from RH9 to
CentOS 4.4 (RHEL4.4 equivalence). So for those Linux users, please
check it out and post your results.

Seems to work ok if I run it under Rosetta; however, it appears that
only PPC code was put into the application bundle.

[/Applications/BitPim.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python2.3/lib-
dynload/*] all files under here are PPC arch only.

Strange since the BitPim binary [in Contents/MacOS] is a Universal
with both ppc and i386 architectures.

The binary is incorrectly labeled. It is, in fact, a PPC only binary
(that is runnable under Rosetta). We cannot produce universal binaries
until we move from python2.3 to python2.4. AFAIK, 2.3 will not build
universal (if someone has a link to say otherwise, please pass it on...).

Basic operation on an Intel MacBook Pro running OS X 10.4.9 seems fine.

This is connecting to an LG 8300 with software version T83VZV01 via
Bluetooth.

I transferred files from my SD card using filesystem view. I also
did a get data, deleted one phone book entry, and sent data to the
phone.
