Discussion:
[Bitpim-devel] 0.7.22-official with Samsung A620?

Reading around I had the impression that 0.7.22 had
some basic support for the Samsung A620 (VGA1000). I
can view the phone file system with the file system
view, but attempts to get phonebook entries, etc.
result in:

SCH-A620 on COM4: The phone is not responding while
transitioning mode from none to phonebook.

Is this to be expected (no support for this phone) or
am I missing some configuration.

Logs attached.

Alan.

This will invariably happen if you go to filesystem view before doing
other operations. Sometimes trying a second time will fix it. Otherwise
turn the phone off and on again. - Vic

I'm looking to add import/export for Calendar entries
for BitPim. Hopefully to a format that Outlook can
understand.

Has anyone tried this kind of support before? Any
preference on file format? vCalendar? CSV?

Alan.
