[BitPim-devel] LG PM-325 auto detect

Sets it to "Other CDMA Phone", on the correct port.

What needs to happen to get it to detect it as the LG PM-325?

And if I detect twice I get an exception, is this normal?

Thanks,
Jerad

First, the phone must be fully supported and moved out of the Debug mode. Second, a phone detection routine must be written for the phone.

No, please post the exception text.

ok, so more support needs to be added to get auto-detection, and the
Exception text is attached.

Thanks,
Jerad

OK, I was finally able to get through to CVS (I hadn't been able to
all night), and now something has changed.

When you do Edit -> Detect Phone the popup now says "Found's LG-PM325
(Sprint) on Com5"

1) I don't know what that 's is all about.

2) Com 5 is the modem port currently and Com 6 is the serial port.

3) You can detect the phone all day with no exception now.

Sorry for the confusion in all of this, I should have waited on CVS
clearing before posting to the list.
